All about Art at Burnley Harbour

Art at Burnley Harbour is our unique outdoor, undercover art show held annually since 2004 on the banks of the Yarra River at Burnley Harbour, Richmond in Melbourne each December. After the success of our first Art at Burnley Harbour Exhibition in 2004 and held each December since, each year with increasing numbers of visitors and participating artists.

Our
NINTH Art at Burnley Harbour outdoor (undercover) art exhibition, held over 3 days from Friday 30 November (8am to 8pm) Saturday 1 December (8am to 8pm) and Sunday 2 December (8am to 6pm), was a great success with over 1 in 7 artworks SOLD over the 3-day period from a field of over 400 artworks by more than 100 artists from all around Melbourne, regional Victoria and interstate.

Read a
REVIEW of the show HERE which also contains photos taken of the artworks, the new Sculpture Garden and the many visitors who enjoy our show.

Special thanks to all the volunteers who helped with the exhibition, and congratulations to all the exhibiting artists (even if you didn't sell), because without your creative contribution, there would be no exhibition! Over the years, our
ABH exhibitions have given artists from Melbourne, and further afield, an opportunity to show off their works in a very special and historic setting at Burnley Harbour in RICHMOND and at a low entry cost to the artist.

Where is Burnley Harbour?
The Burnley Harbour precinct is in Richmond only a few minutes walk from Church Street and consists of McConchie Reserve, the former Richmond Bluestone Quarry (now a wetland), the Monash Freeway reserve, and the Burnley Harbour, managed by Parks Victoria. The exhibition is to be held adjacent to the Yarra Trail bike-pedestrian route on the Yarra River frontage under the Monash-CityLink roadway (also accessible via the pedestrian underpass at the south end of Mary Street, Richmond)
