Opening Wednesday 25 February 6-8pm

In the join exhibition Wonderland, CAS Member Sophie Skarbek and fellow-artist Myrna McRae investigate the wonder of the natural environment.

In her vibrant new body of work Skarbek explores different approaches to her favourite subjects, flowers, bushland and things living in the sea. Her style navigates between realist and more abstract forms and her colours from warm to dark and brooding

McRae's latest body of work explores the Grampians, a place that she has been visiting since early childhood. Famous for its strange rock formations and beautiful trees and flowers McRae has been inspired by the colours and dramatic forms. Through the paintings she has explored the unusual features and meanings of this environment - her own personal wonderland.
