Mini Review of A4 Art Australia opening afternoon at the Herring Island Gallery

Around 120 invited guests, artists and friends mingled and enjoyed refreshments while discussing their favourites of the diverse and fascinating array of artworks on display at the opening of the A4 Art Australia Exhibition at the Herring Island Gallery last Saturday afternoon (21 March). We received many comments on the high quality of the artworks on show and buyers snapped up their favourite works. This is the second time this National Exhibition has been held, and the CAS selection panel was impressed with the high quality of works submitted for selection.

The highlight of the occasion was the Official Opening Speech given by City of Stonnington Mayor Cr. Melina Sehr who was introduced by CAS President, Robert Lee. See photos of the highlights below.

The exhibition continues 28 & 29 March (Sat-Sun) and the Easter long-weekend 4, 5 & 6 April, and there are many beautiful artworks awaiting a red sticker, so come along and snap up your favourite ones! Prices are quite affordable. And you don't need much wall space to hang one or two! Access to the Island is by Parks Victoria Punt Service 11am-5pm, and the Gallery is open from 11.30am to 4.30pm.

All images and a full review will be online at the conclusion of the exhibition.
