“Recent Works” is a selection of mixed media paintings by Shelley Vincent. The exhibition displays the artist's on-going interest in line and colour, and in exploring the effects of various media, supports and techniques.These works are at home in quiet backyards hemmed in by apartments, under noisy motorways and in the less fashionable CBD laneways. They lurk around the edges and sidle in between the gaps. They are striving to exist amongst the turmoil.
